Why is there an eight-character limit for fire branding, and are there alternatives?

Our character limit is set based on the available space on the product and the capacity of our fire branding machines. For some products, the limit is eight characters, which includes spaces. This is because our fire branding machines can hold a maximum of eight brass letters simultaneously, and blank sets are used to create spaces between words.

However, some products can only accommodate fewer characters due to space constraints. For example, certain items may have a limit of six or even four characters.
