Why do the Marshall padfolios have wrinkles on the right side?

The small wrinkles you see on the right side of the padfolio (where the legal pads are inserted) are part of the design. These wrinkles are due to the supporting materials inside the leather, which are intended to make the padfolio sturdier and help it stand upright like a book.

All of our Marshall padfolios feature these wrinkles, but they should flatten out once you place the legal pads on top. For a detailed view of the construction, you can watch our dissection video of the Marshall padfolio here.

If the wrinkles continue to cause discomfort while writing, please let us know, and we will have our team review the issue.
